Let's dive into the world of Samiya.
"Samiya!!! Ye kya tarika hai apne bado se baat krne ka. Phle to aap itni manhos thi hi ki aapke aate hi hmare bcche ko raj-path chodke rajya seema pr jaana pda. Aur abhi humare dusre bacche ka rajyabhishek bhi nhi hone de rahi." Kshamta retorted furiously, her eyes blazing red with anger.
"Samiya!!! What kind of manner is this to speak to your elders? First, you brought such misfortune upon this family that the moment you entered, my first child was forced to abandon the royal path and leave for the borders of the kingdom. And now, you are not even allowing the coronation of my second child to take place."
Samiya let out a soft, almost amused gasp before placing a hand dramatically over her chest.
"Sach kaha aapne, Maasa," she replied sweetly. "Humne hi to dushmanon ko sandesh bheja tha ki 'aaiye, hamare rajya par hamla kariye.'"
"You are absolutely right, Maasa..... Of course, it was I who sent a message to our enemies saying, 'Come... attack our kingdom.'"
A few courtiers lowered their heads, hiding their smiles. She smiled while replying "Aur dusre Kunwar sa ka Rajyabhishek hum nahi rok rahe, Rajmata sa..."
"And it is not me who is stopping the coronation of the second Kunwar Sa, Rajmata Sa..."
she glanced toward the throne and then at Swastik "Humne kbhi apne baccho ko y shiksha nhi di ki apno ko dhokha dekar khud ka fayda uthaye."
"I have never raised my children with the teachings to betray their own people for personal gain."
"Aapto Neeladitya se nafrat krti haina to phir y chinta kyu. Ya yeh Maharani bnne ka lalach h." Kshamta retorted while narrowing her eyes "Aur ek baat hum aapko bta de Swastik, Myranshi aur Lakshyaveer humare bacche aapke nhi unhe apni ma khna bnd kijiye..."
"You hate Neeladitya, do you not? Then why this concern for him? ...Or is it simply your greed to become Maharani?"
"And let me make one thing very clear to you-Swastik, Myranshi, and Lakshyaveer are my children, not yours. So stop calling yourself their mother..."
"Maasa sirf janam dene se koi maa nhi ban jaata, Aur wese bhi janam dene wale se bada paalne waala hota h. Aur hume hmari bhabhi ma ne paala h" Kshamta was cuted in between by Lakshyaveer.
"Maasa, merely giving birth does not make someone a mother. And besides... the one who raises a child holds a place far greater than the one who only gives birth.
It was our Bhabhi Maa who raised us."
"Aur wese bhi hum aaj phli aur akhiri baar bol rhe h hum apni bhabhi ma ke baare m kuch nhi sunenge."
"And besides, let me make this clear today-this is the first and last time i am saying this... i will not tolerate a single word against our Bhabhi Maa."
"Enough!!!" A loud voices cuted them in between.
"Now the coronation ceremony will start. "Swastik, come here at once and take your rightful place." Mahiraj ordered them furiously.
"You cannot do this, Maharaj. Your eldest prince and my husband is still alive. The only thing unknown is where he is, not whether he lives.
As long as he breathes, you cannot perform the coronation of Kunwar Swastik."
"Why can none of you understand? The enemy lies in wait at our borders. I am not the enemies of my own son." Mahiraj rereplied looking tired of his own feelings.
"And what message do you wish to send them then, Maharaj? That we are afraid? That Maitryashila is so weak it cannot even search for its own Kunwar Sa?
Or do you wish to tell the world that the very warrior who protected this kingdom for the last eleven years... cannot even expect his kingdom to stand beside him when he needs it the most?" While saying those words, Samiya was no longer speaking merely as a Kunwarani or as a member of the royal family-she was speaking as a wife whose husband had been abandoned by the very kingdom he bled for.
Her voice did not tremble out of weakness; it shook with restrained rage and heartbreak. Every word carried years of sacrifice Neeladitya had made for Maitryashila-years where he stood at the borders while others slept peacefully within palace walls.
When she asked, "That we are afraid?" there was sharp humiliation in her tone, as though the very thought insulted the pride of Maitryashila. But the moment she spoke about the warrior who had protected the kingdom for eleven years, her anger cracked slightly under the weight of pain.
Because deep inside, Samiya was devastated.
Not because Neeladitya was missing... but because the people he protected so loyally were already preparing to replace him.
Her moist eyes reflected betrayal, disappointment, and helpless fury all at once. She was trying to remain composed in front of the Rajsabha, but every sentence sounded like a wound tearing open.
At that moment, Samiya was not begging the kingdom to search for her husband.
She was questioning whether Maitryashila had ever truly deserved Neeladitya's loyalty at all.
"And if the Kunwar sa is no longer alive, then...?" one minister reply cruelly.
"Abhi saaase chal rhi h hamari, Hamra dil dhadak rha h ar aap kh rhe h wo abhi nhi rhe!!! Hamara sindoor itna kamjor nhi h uska rang phika pdd jaaye. Hum kh dete h sbse wo abhi jinda hai aur abhi to unhe hamara karj bhi utarana hai"
"My breath still flows... my heart still beats... and yet you dare to say that he is no more?
The vermilion in my maang is not so weak that its color would fade so easily.
I am telling all of you-he is alive.
And besides... he still has a debt left to repay to me."
Her voice broke slightly at the end, not with weakness, but with unwavering faith-the kind of faith only a wife deeply bound to her husband could carry.
"Kunwarani sa aapke hridya k anusar yeh rajya nhi chalega. Hume naya Raja ghosit krna hi hoga Swastik kunwar sa ko"
"Kunwarani Sa, this kingdom cannot be governed according to your heart's emotions. We must declare a new king... and that king will be Kunwar Swastik Sa."
"Hamare hridya se rajya nhi chalega parantu unke naam se chalta h. yha upasthit sabhi mantri gan jaante hai ki Maitryashila surakshit hi unke karan hai. Aur 1 baat btaiye jis vyakti ne pure Maitryashila ko surakshit rakha aaj uss vyakti ki jarurat ke samay aap sabhi piche hatt rhe hai." Samiya fell silent for a brief moment, drawing in a slow, trembling breath as though trying to imprison the storm tearing through her heart. Her eyes glistened-not with weakness, but with wounded fury. Pain, betrayal, disappointment, and unshaken determination burned within them all at once. "Agar aap sab kamjor pdd gye h to bta dijiye hum akele hi apne kunwar sa ko dundh k laenge."
"This kingdom may not run by our heart... but it certainly survives because of his name and every minister present in this Rajsabha knows very well that Maitryashila still stands secure only because of him...... And tell me one thing- the man who protected this entire kingdom all his life... why is it that when he needs his kingdom the most, all of you are stepping back from him?...... "And if all of you have grown so weak... then say it clearly... I alone will go and bring my Kunwar Sa back."
The entire Rajsabha could see it clearly-she was standing on the edge of breaking apart, yet her pride refused to let her fall.
"Aap ek stree hai kunwarani sa aap yuddh mei utrengi. Agar hamare shatru ko pta chala to wo aapko 1 chan k liye bhi jivit nhi chodenge. Aap rajya ke janankhane ko sambhaliye sirf aapke wahi yogya hai." The minister retorted back cruelly.
"You are a woman, Kunwarani Sa... and you speak of stepping into a battlefield? If our enemies learn of this, they will not leave you alive even for a single moment.... You should remain within the women's quarters of the palace. That alone is where your capabilities truly belong."
"Aap bhul rahe h kaka-sa..."
"...hum ek stree h."
"Wo stree jo shaant bhi h..."
"...par jab uske apno par sankat aaye
"...jo raksha ke liye astra uthana bhi jaanti h."
"Hum janam dena bhi jaante h..."
"...aur avashyakta padne par..."
"...pran harna bhi."
“You forget, Kaka-sa…”
“…I am a woman.”
“A woman who knows how to remain gentle…”
“…but when danger falls upon her loved ones…”
“…she also knows how to raise weapons for their protection.”
“I know how to give life…”
“…and when necessary…”
“…how to take it too.”
With Samiya's final words, Simharaj (the lion) let out a thunderous roar beside her, as if the mighty beast itself stood in agreement with its mistress.
He moved closer to Samiya protectively, golden eyes glaring at the entire Rajsabha with a warning so clear that not a single soul dared to utter another word.
"There is a difference between grand words and real life, Kunwarani Sa. Such things may sound admirable when spoken... but in reality, none of it is truly possible."
Samiya look at minister furiously "Theek hai Hum pratigya lete hai hum agle 3 mahino mei apne kunwar-sa ko leke mahal lautenge, agar Hum asafal hue to hum kbhin mahal mei kadam bhi nhi rakhenge"
"Very well then. I take a vow before everyone present here-within the next three months, I shall return to this palace with my Kunwar Sa. And if I fail... then I will never set foot inside this palace again."
She joined her hand infront of Mahiraj, Kshamta and Rajmaata "Abhi ek kunwarani-sa bankar nhi, apki bahu bankar bol rahe h hume aashirvad dijiye. Hum apne pati ke saath iss mahal mei laute."
"Right now, I am not speaking to you as the Kunwarani Sa... but as your daughter-in-law. Bless me... so that I may return to this palace with my husband by my side."
A loud gasp echoed throughout the Rajsabha. Murmurs erupted instantly among the ministers and royal guards as they stared at one another in shock and disbelief. The entire court seemed shaken by Samiya's vow, the weight of her words leaving the atmosphere heavy with tension.
"Lekin aap akele kaise" Mahiraj murmured
"But how will you go alone...?"
"Bhabhi-ma hum aapke saath chalenge" Both princes and princess spoke with fire in their eyes.
"Sister-in law we will go with you."
"Aur Hum bhi aapke saath chalenge" Rajmata commented
"And I, too, will go with you."
"No-one will come with me" she look at her bothers in law and sister in law. "Its my order to all three of you ." Then she looked at Rajmaata while joining her hand "I can not order you but its my request Rajmata, Its my fight let me fight."
"Who are you right now?
Is it my daughter-in-law standing before me... or the Kunwarani Sa of Maitryashila?"
"Right now, I am neither the daughter-in-law of this royal family nor the Kunwarani Sa of Maitryashila.
Today, I stand here not as a title... not as a crown... but as a woman.
A woman who has been pushed to her limits, betrayed, silenced, and tested at every step... yet still refuses to bow her head.
And when a woman is left with nothing but her dignity, her love, and the people she swore to protect... she does not break. She becomes a storm.
So today, I will fight-
for my honor, for my freedom, for my husband, for my family, and for every inch of my kingdom.
Because if the world wishes to witness a war...
then they will witness it through me."
Simharaj glanced around the Rajsabha, his piercing eyes filled with a silent warning for anyone who even dared to stand against his mistress-his mother. The mighty beast stood so close to Samiya, so fiercely protective, that no one in the court could even imagine opposing her without inviting death upon themselves. His posture alone declared what words did not-any harm toward Samiya would first have to pass through him.
Then Samiya slowly turned toward her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law-her children in every way except blood, the ones she had raised with her own hands, protected with her own heart, and loved as a mother would. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears as she looked at them.
"Hamare aur aapke Bhai Sa ki anupasthiti mei... Maitryashila ki zimmedari ab aapko sambhalni hogi."
"In the absence of both your Bhai Sa and me... the responsibility of Maitryashila will now rest upon your shoulders."
Her voice trembled slightly, yet carried the weight of authority and sacrifice.
"Yeh kewal aadesh nahi h... hamara updesh h.
Hum aap teeno ko sirf Chandravya ke vaaris nahi... balki Maitryashila ki aakhri aas samajhte h."
"This is not merely my command... it is my guidance as well. I do not see the three of you as merely the heirs of Chandravya... but as Maitryashila's last hope."
For a moment, the queen within her faded... and only a mother remained.
"Hum kal subah hi yha se prasthan karenge"
"I will depart from here tomorrow morning itself."
"Mahraj hum aapse veenti krte hai kripya Rajmaata aur hamaro teeno baccho ko chod dijiye"
"Maharaj, I beg of you... please release Rajmata Sa and my children."
Mahiraj gestured the royal gaurds to release them "Do not disappoint me in the decision I have made."
She nodded and left from the palace with the Simharaj.
