3. The Courtroom or Battlefield

Hi my readerlog,

I am here again giving updates. Hope you guys are liking this books.
Let's start the book without any panchayat🫣🫣

The royal court stood frozen in tension as the priest anxiously looked toward the entrance again and again.

"Maharaj," he said nervously, "only a few moments remain before the muhurat ends."

"King"

Before anyone could respond-
The grand doors opened.

But instead of the majestic entrance everyone expected, silence spread across the Sabha in shock.

Kunwar Swastik walked inside... wearing simple night clothes.

His dark kurta was slightly crumpled, his hair untied as if he had rushed straight from his chambers without caring about royal protocol.

There were no jewels, no royal shawl, no sword at his waist.

Besides him, walk inside Kunwar Lakshyaveer and kunwari Myranshi. They both dressed in Angrakha.

"Now the drama begins" Swastik murmuring while looking behind

"Where is maasa and dadisa" he asked while looking around.

"Aap apni masa aur dadisa ko chodiye. Y btaiye aap sabne ye kaise vastra phne rajabhishek mei" Mahiraj shouted furiously while looking at them.

"Leave aside your Mother and Grandmother. Tell us this instead—why are all of you dressed in such attire for the coronation?"

The trio smirked while looking at them. "Which Rajyabhishek pitaji. Hume nhi pta tha Neeladitya bhaisa wapas aa chuke h."

"Which coronation, Father? We were unaware that Brother Neeladitya had returned."

"Aab aapke bhaisa nhi rhe manjale Kunwar Sa. Ab aapko hi Rajgaddi smbhalni hogi." replied one of minister of the kingdom.

"Your brother is no longer here, middle prince. Now, you will have to take responsibility for the throne yourself."

"Ek ar sabd hmare Neeladitya bhaisa ke baare m boliye hmm waada krte h aapki juban nikal denge"  replied Myranshi while tilting her head looking at all of them with red eyes.

"Say one more word about my brother Neeladitya, and we swear we shall tear your tongue out."

"Aap bilkul surphanka k bhaisa kyu lg rhe h hume Kaka sa" replied Swastik with cruel smile.

"You truly remind us of Surpanakha's brother, Uncle."

"Aap hmara apmaan kr rhe h. Iska dand aapko avshya milega y hmara vaada h aapse Swastik Kuwar sa"

"You are insulting me. And for this disrespect, you shall certainly be punished—this is our promise to you, Prince Swastik."

"Hume maaf kijiyega kakasa hume nhi pta tha ki aapki ijjat bhi h koi . kyunki hume kbhi mehsoos nhi hui."

"Forgive me, Uncle. I  was unaware that you possessed any honour at all... because i have never witnessed it ourselves."

"Maharaj, you cannot allow them to speak to us in such a manner. We demand justice for this insult and humiliation."

"Kaka- sa aap to gurukul m pdne wale vidyarthi ki tarah pitaji se shikayat kar rahe h y aap par shobha nhi deta" interuupted Lakshyaveer smirking coldly at minister. "Kalko aap pitaji se bhai sa ko murga bnate hue mt kah dijiyega"

"Uncle, you are complaining to father like a student from Gurukul. It does not suit your position,"

"Tomorrow, do not tell fatherto makebrother Swastik do the rooster punishment as well."

"Wese bhi bhai sa ne glt nhi kha jesi aapki harkat h aap minister nhi monster lgte h hume" Myranshi  murmured while looking here and there like  nothing happened.

"Besides, my brother was not wrong. Looking at your actions, you seem less like a minister and more like a monster to us."

Meanwhile, Rajmata walked inside with Kshamta discussing about Rajyabhishek. They listened what Myranshi whisper.

"What the hell is going on here?" Dadisa's voice thundered through the whole Rajsabha, sharp enough to freeze every soul in place. The silver cane struck the marble floor once, echoing like a warning bell across the palace walls. Her eyes, blazing with fury and disbelief, moved from one face to another as silence swallowed the hall whole.

"koi hume btaaiega Swastik aap esse vastro m kyu h, Kunwar Lakshyaveer aur kunwari Myranshi aap angrakha m kyu h, aur aapki bhabhi sa kha h" asked Rajmata in her sharp voice.

"Will someone explain to mewhy you are dressed in such attire, Swastik? Why are prince Lakshyaveer and princess Myranshi wearing angarkhas? And where is your sister in law?"

Before anyone could speak, The minister replied "What will they possibly tell you, Rajmata sa?" he said with a cold, mocking smile, stepping forward confidently. "Allow me to tell you instead... the truth is being hidden here. And today, in this royal court, every veil shall be lifted."

Rajmata narrowed her eyes and nodded, giving him hint to speak.

"Rajmata all three of them is against this coronation. when we try to speak politely they insulted me and i want justice against how they insulted me in the whole courtroom. Prince Swastik and Princess Myranshi do not respect this Crown. I suggest you to teach them a lesson so that they will not do anything to disrespect the crown." The minister scoff while narrowing his eyes at them.

" And remained the Kunwarani Sa Samiya , she should not be here. She is cursed woman...."

"Enough!" Rajmaata sa raised her trembling hand, silencing him mid-sentence. Though her face remained composed with royal dignity, the storm raging within her eyes betrayed everything she refused to speak aloud—hurt, disappointment, and a grief so deep it seemed to weigh upon her very soul. For the first time in years, the woman who once ruled the palace with unwavering strength looked exhausted by the very ministers she had fought to protect.

"I am not going to listen anything about my beloved Samiya, what is her fault that you guys are speaking like that about her"

"Maasa they are not wrong. Ever since that woman stepped into this household, our son has drifted away from this family. First, he spent eleven long years on the battlefield... and now, no one even knows where he is." Her voice shook with bitterness and buried sorrow as tears welled in her eyes. "That woman is cursed... a bringer of misfortune to this palace. I don't even if he is alive or he is..." at this she starting crying loudly

"Maasa!"
"Kshamta!"

The voices of the princes, princess, and even Rajmata echoed through the chamber at once, loud with shock and disbelief. The entire Rajsabha fell into a suffocating silence, stunned by the harshness of Kshamta's words.

"Swastik, no matter what you do, your coronation ceremony will take place today itself," Mahiraj cuted them and declared firmly, his voice carrying the authority of the throne.

A dark smile slowly appeared on Mahiraj's face. Without uttering another word, he gave a subtle gesture to his soldiers. Within moments, armored guards stormed forward and seized Lakshveer and Myranshi, gripping their arms tightly before anyone in the court could react. The sudden clash of swords and horrified gasps echoed across the Rajsabha as tension spread like wildfire through the palace walls.

"Pitaji, what the hell are you saying?" Swastik's voice rose with disbelief as he stepped forward, his eyes burning with frustration. "Bhai sa is out there somewhere, and instead of finding him, you are trying to make me king? This is absurd!"

He shook his head firmly, anger and helplessness battling within him. "I will never take the throne. It belongs to Bhai sa... it has always belonged to him."

"Aapke Bhai sa ab iss duniya mein nahi rahe, Kunwar sa Swastik..." the minister sneered, a cruel satisfaction glinting in his eyes as though he relished every shard of pain his words delivered.

Suddenly Myranshi attack with her sword on minister which collide with the sword of Lakshyaveer who is looking as angry as hell.

"What are you doing bhaisa let me kill this bastard. How could he speak like this about Neeladitya bhai sa. He is our father more than this man who has donate his sperm and right now a wanna be king." Myranshi said coldly while looking at  Lakshyaveer.

Myranshi!!!

ENOUGH!!!

Don't  forget i am your father and a king too. i have every right to decide what is good for our kingdom. You are not only one who has lost her brother, look at maasa she has lost her grandson and your mother who has lost her son. He speak sadly

"If today you do not accept this coronation, then I shall have no choice left but to order the assassination of both your brother and sister. Guards, arrest them along with Rajmata!" Maharaj ordered furiously.

"Pitaji"

"Mahiraj"

Both princes, princess and Rajmaata shouted together

Suddenly, Swastik yanked a sword from one of the soldiers' hands and swiftly positioned himself before Rajmata, shielding her protectively. The siblings gathered around one another, standing as each other's shield against their own father's cruelty, ready to wage a war if anyone dared to harm them.

"Are the three of you truly capable of fighting against the soldiers of our entire empire?"

"Guards, arrest them!"

One of the guards stepped forward and reached out to seize Myranshi. But before his hand could even touch him, a sharp whistle cut through the tense silence of the court.

The next instant, an arrow shot across the Rajsabha with deadly precision and pierced straight through the guard's hand.

"Aaahhh!" the soldier screamed in agony as blood splattered onto the marble floor. He stumbled backward, clutching his wounded hand while the entire court froze in shock.

The arrow still trembled violently where it had struck, its deadly warning echoing louder than any words could.
